    TEA has determined it is safe for us to allow students back on our campuses in August. That being said, we will be offering two educational options: In-person learning and At-home learning.

    On July 13, our online registration portal will open. There you will find a survey containing questions concerning the upcoming school year and you can determine which learning format you would like to proceed with for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.

Chapel Hill ISD Category 2 Information

  • CHISD device pickup sign up for the 2020-2021 school year

    In response to COVID-19, Chapel Hill ISD will provide devices to students that do not have a device so that they can utilize Edgenuity throughout the school year. Please only sign-up for a device if you marked that you needed a device in your registration questionnaire.

  • The P-EBT deadline has been extended

    The deadline to apply for the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) has been extended to July 31st. Did your child receive free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program during the 2019-2020 school year? If so, your family may be eligible for this one-time food benefit.

  • Internet Safety at Home. Five tips to keeping your kids safer online

    June is Internet Safety Month at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). This year, with stay-at-home orders keeping more children at home and online, it is critically important now more than ever that we make sure children are staying safe while using the internet. That’s why this summer we encourage you to make internet safety a priority for your family. To help, NCMEC has released new NetSmartz presentations and a tip sheet that will help you support your child's safety online as they use their phones, video game consoles, and other connected devices.

  • Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer

    Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) is a one-time food benefit for families who lost access to free or reduced-price meals due to school closures. Eligible P-EBT families will receive application instructions from schools in late May. The P-EBT application will open the first week of June. P-EBT food benefits are for children who received SNAP food benefits for March 2020 and children who are certified for free or reduced-price school meals during the 2019-20 Texas school year.
