District authorities have been carefully observing the weather and have determined that it is safe for students, families, and buses to travel home as scheduled, with caution.
We will assess the weather overnight and make a decision for tomorrow, Feb. 1, based on the safety of all. Any updates will be communicated before 7 p.m. tonight, Jan. 31.

Tuesday, January 31st, After school tutorials and detentions have also been cancelled due to uncertain weather conditions. Also, the Parent Symposium scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. Stay safe and warm.

Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 7:10 a.m.: CHISD is operating on a regular class schedule. Our staff and Transportation team are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our students. Thank you for your cooperation.
Monday, Jan. 30 at 4:55 p.m.: Classes will proceed as normal as current weather reports in our area show no adverse conditions tomorrow, Jan. 31. However, District officials will continue to monitor the weather.

It's time to put your dance shoes on and join us for some fun! Our amazing PAC team will be hosting a dance for both grade levels on Friday Jan. 27, 2023. 6:30pm- 8:30pm
Tickets for the dance will go on sale Mon 1/23- Fri 1/27 in both grade level lunches. Pre-sales will be $5.00 and door sales will be $7.00. Please note that the CHJH CAMPUS DRESS CODE WILL BE ENFORCED. Students who arrive out of dress code policy will not be allowed to enter the dance. The dress code for this dance does not allow for formal wear. Ticket sales are non-refundable.
Students are required to wear their student ID badge. No large purses or backpacks of any kind are allowed inside the gym. CHISD is not responsible for lost or stolen items while in attendance.
Students who are at step 4 or higher on the day of Jan. 27th in both minor or major behavior step plan will not be allowed to attend the Winter dance.
