Student transfer applications are requests for students to attend a campus to which they are not zoned. Student transfers are for children in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. All transfer requests will be determined based on District Transfer Guidelines.
Feb. 7 - Feb. 25
Students currently in 2nd grade who wish to be "grandfathered" to remain at the same campus for their 2022 - 2023 school year & Employee student transfers
March 1 - June 13
Out of District transfers, not residing in CHISD & Employee student transfers
Transportation is NOT provided to transfer students and must be provided by the parent or guardian of a student on an approved transfer.
Transfer students must abide by the Student Code of Conduct. The principal may revoke the transfer for serious or persistent misconduct, and will revoke the transfer for any offense resulting in (DAEP) or (JJAEP) placement.
A transfer may be revoked for a documented pattern of late arrivals, late pick-ups, and/or poor attendance.
Any falsification of documents or records is a criminal offense and subject to fines under Section 37.10 Penal Code.
Approval of a transfer does not guarantee UIL varsity athletic eligibility.
