🎉 National Principals Month Spotlight: Ms. Ashley Loyd
On this last Friday in October, we are celebrating Chapel Hill Junior High Principal Ashley Loyd—a leader who treats her staff like family, makes the work environment fun and looks for meaningful ways to connect with students.
“It is hard to think of just one thing, but what sticks out most is that she treats the staff like family,” said Assistant Principal Kari Geissal. “She shows compassion for struggling students and tries to find ways to connect with them.”
Ms. Loyd says she loves that no two days as a principal are ever the same. Her role allows her to solve problems, support people, celebrate successes and see the impact of the work happening across the entire campus.
A few fun facts about Ms. Loyd: Her hidden talent is baking, and she has a knack for making treats that taste as good as they look! When she is away from school, her favorite way to recharge is by spending time with her family.
Thank you, Ms. Loyd, for making Chapel Hill Junior High a place where employees feel valued and students feel supported. 💙💛

Effective TODAY, students must have a completed 2026–2027 Bus Rider Eligibility Form in Skyward and have their badge before they are permitted to ride a district bus.
Students who are registered but have not been actively riding will be removed from the active rider list. To reactivate transportation services, a parent or guardian must contact the Transportation Department directly.
If your student has not completed the 2026–2027 Bus Rider Eligibility Form in Skyward or does not have their badge, they will not be permitted to ride the bus and must be picked up from campus.
For assistance with registration or questions about your student’s bus status, please call 903-566-2441.
Thank you for helping Chapel Hill ISD keep its transportation system safe and efficient.
