🚨 2-Hour Delay Announcement 🚨 Due to inclement weather, Chapel Hill ISD will operate on a 2-hour delayed start on Friday, January 10. This delay is to ensure the safety of all students and staff as road conditions improve. Buses will run on a 2-hour delay. Classes will begin 2 hours later than the usual start time. Please stay tuned for further updates if conditions change. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

The district is closely monitoring the weather and will continue to update as needed.
CHISD family, we have been closely monitoring the weather and consulting with the National Weather Service and local meteorologists. Based on the projected forecast for tomorrow, we anticipate that road conditions will allow for a normal school start. Therefore, we will have a normal start to school for Thursday, January 9, 2025. We will continue to monitor the situation on Thursday and will reassess if conditions change.
