Due to an extend power outage at four campuses students will be released early. Wise Elementary, Jackson Elementary, and Kissam Intermediate will release students at 2:15 p.m. The High School and Junior High will release students at 2:30 p.m. the decision was made after school officials spoke with Oncor and a restoration time could not be determined. Buses will begin to run at dismissal time and should arrive 1.5 hours earlier than normal.

Power lines along Highway 64 East are currently down and will come back up at 2:30 p.m., according to Oncor. Please note classes and dismissal time will continue as usual.

Save the Date: You're invited to attend the Chapel Hill ISD 5th Annual Homecoming Parade, at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 11.
The parade will begin near the Kissam Intermediate School driveway, travel down County Road 215, and end at the Bulldog Stadium with a community pep rally. The pep rally will include performances by the Highlighters, High School Cheer, Band, and Twirlers.
