Chapel Hill High School Students Shine in Statewide Music Competitions

Chapel Hill, Smith County- Two talented Chapel Hill High School students, Maddie Williams and Victoria Clayton, earned a spot at statewide music competitions.

Victoria Clayton Earns Spot in All-State Band as Top Clarinet Player in 4A Classification

Senior Victoria Clayton, a distinguished member of the Bulldog Band, has secured a spot in the prestigious All-State Band, a remarkable feat that showcases her exceptional clarinet skills. 

Having excelled at the regional and area levels, Victoria's selection as one of seven musicians to advance to the All-State Band solidifies her position as one of the best clarinet players in the entire state of Texas at the 4A Classification.

Victoria will join the Band Directors in February at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) convention in San Antonio, where she will compete for chair placement in the best 4A band in the state. 

Maddie Williams Secures 1st Chair in Small School All-State Choir for Third Consecutive Year

Chapel Hill High School is proud to congratulate Maddie Williams, a dedicated soprano and a prominent member of the Chapel Hill High School choir, for securing the coveted 1st chair in all three rounds of the Small School All-State Choir competition. This accomplishment marks Maddie's third consecutive year achieving this honor.

Maddie's journey through the rigorous six to seven-month competition process showcases not only her vocal skills but also her resilience and commitment to excellence. In recognition of her achievement, Maddie will attend the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention in February, participating in rehearsals and the final concert.
