Traffic Changes to Bulldog Drive Affecting High School and Junior High School

Chapel Hill ISD is committed to keeping our students, staff, and community informed about upcoming changes to traffic patterns, entrance procedures, and parking at our high school and junior high school campuses. These changes are necessary due to ongoing construction near our campus, and we appreciate your understanding during this transitional period.

Changes Effective Spring Semester 2024

Entrance Changes:

Bulldog Drive will no longer serve as an entrance to access our campuses. All traffic must use County Road 215, also known as Baseball Road, as the primary entrance.

Junior High Drop-off/Pickup Procedures:

  • Anyone dropping off or picking up students, as well as any visitors to the campus, must enter through the back gates from Baseball Road.

  • Parents dropping off or picking up their children before and after school should continue to utilize the back area behind the school as usual.

Junior High Parking Adjustments:

  • The current front parking lot will be designated for staff only.

  • All visitors are required to park in the designated visitor parking in front of the Career and Tech Education Building (the CTE), also known as "The Hill." Visitors will then walk down the steps to the front office.

Junior High Visitors:

If visitors mistakenly park in the front Staff Parking lot between 2:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., they may face difficulty exiting due to buses lining up for afternoon routes.

Bus Arrival and Departure:

Buses will begin lining up Bulldog Drive for morning drop-offs and afternoon departures.

We understand that this transitional period may be inconvenient, but we appreciate your patience and cooperation.
