Don’t forget that if your child does not pay to attend the Walk-a-Thon, they won't be going at all. They will have a normal day at school. The big day is Thursday. Please be sure to send $5 with your student if you’d like them to attend.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Kissam Intermediate School will be sponsoring a Walk-A-Thon on March 27th at the Bulldog Football Stadium. The 4th and 5th-grade students will participate from 8:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m. The 6th-grade students will participate from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will go towards Student Incentives, & Student Field Trips.
We ask that the Parents come to Kissam to receive a Visitor’s Pass before attending the Walk-A-Thon.
We have set a campus goal to raise $6,000
To participate in the walk-a-thon, you must collect a minimum of $5.00 in contributions. Ask your parents, grandparents, family members, and friends to donate. All money should be turned in by Friday, March 14th. Checks should be made payable to Kissam Intermediate School.
To further reward students for participation in this fabulous event there will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize! The Home Room classes in the school that collect the most money will receive:
1st Place – Pizza Party
2nd Place – Ice Cream party
3rd Place- Popcorn party
The Concession Stand will be open for participants during the Walk-A-Thon. If your student plans on purchasing anything from the Concession Stand they need to have their money in an envelope or bag with their name on it. Students will be able to purchase lunch from the Concession Stand, get a Sack Lunch from the cafeteria or bring lunch from home.

La Escuela Intermedia Kissam patrocinará una Walk-a-thon el Jueves 27 de MArzo en el Bulldog Stadium. Los estudiantes de 4to y 5to grado participarán de 8:15 am a 11:15 am. Los estudiantes de 6to participaran de 11:30 am a 2:00 pm. Las ganancias de la recaudación de fondos de este año se destinarán a incentivos para estudiantes y excursiones estudiantiles.
Se les pedirá a los padres que vengan a Kissam para recibir una pase de visitante antes de asistir al Walk-a-thon.
¡Hemos establecido una meta del campus para recaudar $6,000
