STAAR Testing is here! The following days in April will be test days:
Tuesday, April 16th - 6th Grade Reading
Wednesday, April 17th - 5th Grade Science
Tuesday, April 23rd - 4th Grade Math
Wednesday, April 24th - 5th Grade Math
Thursday, April 25th - 6th Grade Math
Please have your children go to bed early the night before, preferably by 8:00 p.m., eat a good breakfast, and encourage them to do their best as they go off for the day. They are ready for it! Just a few reminders below:
On these testing days, no delivery of lunches will be available to minimize distractions.
There will be no visitors on scheduled testing days.
Backpacks and other supplies are NOT needed on testing days. Please send water bottles and library books only. Students may bring their lunch from home or may go through the lunch line.
All students are asked to leave any electronic device(s) at home.
Breakfast is served at 7:15 a.m. Arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. on testing days.
Snacks and water will be provided during the day for your child. We take frequent breaks and extra special care of your children during these testing days! Please remember the state assessments are timed. We have worked with our students to prepare them for this. It is extremely important that your child arrive at school ON TIME on testing days. Remind them to pace themselves appropriately and do their best!

Haga que sus hijos se acuesten temprano la noche anterior preferiblemente a las 8:00 p.m. coman un buen desayuno y animarlos a hacer lo mejor que puedan a medida que avanza el día. ¡Están listos para ello! Solo algunos recordatorios a continuación:
En estos días de pruebas, para minimizar las distracciones, no habrá entrega de almuerzos disponibles.
No habrá visitantes los días de prueba programados.
No se necesitan mochilas ni otros suministros los días de exámenes. Por favor envíe botellas de agua y libros de la biblioteca únicamente.

Don't forget that we have 4th grade testing tomorrow, April 10. Fifth grade will test April 11. We will be not having visitors on campus. Make sure to get plenty of rest.
