Our Gifted and Talented students in Kindergarten-2nd grade attended the Region 7 Create Student Seminar on Friday, April 5th. They were able to learn and sing with the Singing Zookeeper, and enjoy crafting Butterfly themed creations.

Check out these Jackson students who made a Bingo! Reading at home is very important to growing readers! Take time to read together over the break and bring your Bingo Board back before the end of the month to earn a prize. We would love for you to share photos of your readers!



Students spent time in the library this week with STEM activities. They used Brain Flakes to create things in a "Seussy" way, and magnetic blocks to create things you'd find in a zoo.


Our 1st graders are very excited to perform and ready for you to come and see them! Come check them out Thursday evening at Jackson Elementary!

Next week, we will be celebrating Read Across America and Texas Public Schools week. Join us with dress up days. Your child's teacher will send out a notification for Monday's class color, since each class is different.



Jackson Pre-K students enjoyed reading with the CHHS Boys Basketball team today! The High School students used questioning strategies and had conversations with the students about how the book related to themselves and each other!
