Students spent time in the library this week with STEM activities. They used Brain Flakes to create things in a "Seussy" way, and magnetic blocks to create things you'd find in a zoo.

Jackson Pre-K students enjoyed reading with the CHHS Boys Basketball team today! The High School students used questioning strategies and had conversations with the students about how the book related to themselves and each other!

Young Audiences of Northeast Texas presented a Soul Street performance yesterday to help celebrate Black History Month, sharing cultural dancing and amazing students with their athletic ability.
Jackson Elementary students enjoyed the PBIS party they earned for good behavior and following the BARK rules! They especially enjoyed having the high school CTE Education students leading games with a positive and encouraging attitude.
Congratulations to our Gifted and Talented students for earning Outstanding Performance for their participation in the Region 7 Education Service Center's Robotics Showcase yesterday. They did a great job representing Jackson and learned many things about robots, including how a local police department uses drones in the line of duty.
