Trina has an Associates of Arts in Computer Science from Tyler Junior College. She also received a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and Masters of Education STEM Education from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Prior to Chapel Hill ISD Mrs. Beard worked at the Academy of Skills and Knowledge(now Cumberland Academy Middle School).
