We are excited to announce that Chapel Hill Independent School District has been selected to participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP)!
This is a wonderful achievement for our district, as Chapel Hill ISD is the only district in our region selected to receive this award. We are especially proud to bring this program back to Chapel Hill after more than 10 years!
The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program provides an exciting opportunity to introduce our elementary students to a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables while encouraging healthy eating habits and promoting nutrition education. Through this program, students will have the opportunity to explore new foods, learn about the importance of making healthy choices, and develop a greater appreciation for nutritious options.
We look forward to working alongside our administrators, campus staff, families, and students to make this program a success. Our goal is to create positive experiences that encourage lifelong healthy habits and support the health and well-being of our students.
