Tyler, Texas — Chapel Hill Independent School District is proud to announce it has been selected as a recipient of a $5,000 award from T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights program once again. This initiative celebrates high school communities across the country by supporting student-athletes and school athletic programs. Chapel Hill ISD was a recipient of last year’s $5,000 program as well.
The $5,000 award will directly benefit Chapel Hill ISD athletics and student programming, further enhancing opportunities for student-athletes to succeed on and off the field.
Representatives from T-Mobile presented the ceremonial check during celebrations at the Bulldog Launch event at Bulldog Stadium on Saturday, August 15.
“I was very excited to hear of us winning the competition for the second year in a row. This will go to good use, especially with school budgets taking a hit,” said Chapel Hill ISD’s Athletic Director/Head Football Coach, Jeff Riordan. “We are grateful to T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights for recognizing the importance of investing in our students and for celebrating the tradition of Friday night football here in Chapel Hill.
