District-Wide Holiday Card Contest: "What the Holidays Mean to Me"

Chapel Hill, Smith County – Chapel Hill Independent School District is inviting students from across the district to participate in the Holiday Card Contest. 

The theme of the contest, "What the Holidays Mean to Me," encourages students to express their unique perspectives and share the joy of the season with the community. Students are encouraged to explore a variety of creative mediums, including drawing, painting, mixed media, and graphic design.

“Five outstanding entries will be selected as winners and featured on the official Chapel Hill Independent School District holiday card. These cards will be shared district-wide and beyond,” said Communications Director Belen Casillas. “This initiative not only allows our students to showcase their artistic abilities but also brings our community together in the spirit of joy and unity.”

Submissions can be made either physically or digitally. Physical entries should be submitted at the CHISD Administration Office, located at 11134 County Road 2249, Tyler, TX 75707. Digital entries can be emailed to media@chapelhillisd.org. It's important to note that the quality of scanned or photographed submissions may impact the selection process. High-resolution images are recommended to ensure the effective representation of the artwork.

Winners will also be showcased in district publications, including the popular Down With Dean video series.

Entries will be judged based on creativity, inclusivity, and originality, encouraging participants to embrace the essence of the holiday season.
