Bulldog Band Triumphs at Region 21 UIL Marching Contest, Advances to State Military Marching Competition

Chapel Hill, Smith County - The Chapel Hill High School Band has advanced to the UIL State Military Marching Competition after earning a 1st Division rating at the Region 21 UIL Marching Contest held at Stephen F. Austin State University on October 14. 

With this remarkable accomplishment, the Bulldog Band will represent their school district at the esteemed competition, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 25, at McLane Stadium in Waco. 

“I’m so excited to showcase our students and their hard work. Being able to attend this prestigious contest is an honor,” said the Director of Bands Mr. Joseph Hewitt.

The Chapel Hill ISD community extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Bulldog Band for their exceptional achievements and wishes them the best of luck as they gear up for the UIL State Military Marching Competition. The band's commitment to musical excellence is a source of pride for the district.
