Construction Projects Winding Down

Moving Date Set - The construction projects are winding down as far as new construction. Students and staff will begin occupying the Wise, Kissam, and Jackson additions the week of April 27th. The projects are all on time and within the bond budget. There will be some continuing projects this spring and summer. These projects will include some area drainage, demolition of older buildings, and some improvements to sewer operations. We will also have some playground improvement projects. The amazing thing about the projects was that the student learning environment remained undisturbed for the entire year. School operations were safe and the cooperation of the contractors outstanding. I appreciate the patience of the parents as we had to redirect traffic on several occasions. I want to personally thank the community for showing confidence in our school system by providing these outstanding facilities. Our schools are much safer and more conductive to providing a quality education to our children.
