Chapel Hill ISD students learn the dangers of drunk driving

Chapel Hill ISD High School and Junior High students will witness a dramatization of an alcohol-related wreck led by the Shattered Dreams Program on Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Shattered Dreams is a two-day, school-based program that promotes responsible decision-making among high school students regarding underage drinking and distracted driving. There will be a mock crash scene set up in the High School parking lot. The mock will start at 9:30 a.m. with emergency vehicles including a helicopter rushing to the scene.

The program will include parent-student workshop, mock alcohol-related crash, mock death notification, and mock memorials

Please be aware that if your student is in quarantine or isolation, she/he will not be allowed to attend. Masks must be worn inside all facilities and transportation vehicles by all staff and students.

The Shattered Dreams Program is led by High School Administration and student leaders.
