Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Fabrizio Olague
I am Fabrizio Olague, Bilingual Dyslexia interventionist. I have a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Universidad Iberoamericana Leon (Mexico, where I was born), I also have a master's degree in Digital Media Production (from Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, Spain). I am certified Bilingual EC-4 Teacher for the State of Texas. I've been a teacher here in Texas for 12 years. Prior to this, I taught in Mexico for 6 years.
I believe that all children are unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education. I will assist my students to express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well as embrace the differences of others.
The Chapel Hill Dyslexia Instructional Program is offered in a small class setting and includes reading, writing, and spelling as appropriate. This school district uses the Neuhaus Method. It is an Orton-Gillingham-based multisensory approach to teaching reading in small groups. It provides phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
I look forward to work closely with you so we together can meet the specific needs of your child, and see him/her become the great citizen he/she deserves to be.
