Hello. My name is LaDonna Mendez and I have been teaching at Kissam since 2017. Teaching has always been a passion for me and I am truly blessed to be able to do it every day. My desire to be a teacher may come from being the oldest of six children in our family. I am looking forward to all the learning that awaits us as we learn new things and from each other.
LeTourneau University is where I received my Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6. However, before becoming a teacher, I have been a paraprofessional in the classroom for about 19 years.
My conference time is 8:45 a.m. until 9:25 a.m. You may also reach me by calling the school (903) 566-8334 or by dojo. I am looking forward to getting to know my students and parents so that we may work together to help each student succeed. The wonderful paraprofessional that will be in our room this year is Mrs. Dale and we are so blessed to have her.
