Degrees and Certifications:
I began my teaching career in 2017. Prior to teaching I have worked in the AG and Natural Resource industry. I have a BS in Ag Development from Texas A&M! Go Aggies!!!! I am excited to share my experience and knowledge from the industry with the next generations. Getting students excited about AG and all the possible careers it opens to them is one of my greatest joys. Students SAE projects is a primary focus each year. We spend 60% of the year working on this project and presenting thier project in various venues. FFA is a major component of AG classes. We have a very active chapter here. Every year we grow larger than the last. Through our partnerships with other pathways, such as Culinary, students are able to experience the possibilities of where an emphasis on Agriculture can take them. It is my belief that the Ag pathway connects to all other CTE pathways in some way and I highlight that throughout the year.
On a personal note, I am married with 2 children. I graduated from Chapel Hill in 1993 and am very excited to be teaching at Chapel Hill ISD.
