SO PROUD OF MY CREATIVE AND HARD WORKING STUDENTS!!
Hello, I am Kim Taylor and I have been teaching art since 1994. I attended TJC and graduated with a BFA with an emphasis in Art education from UT Tyler. I received the privilege of studying art in various cities in Italy on scholarship. Being raised in the military by my parents, both artist, allowed me to travel many countries and states seeing and studying art all over the world including my birth place, Tokyo, Japan. I also received the honor of assisting in taking HS students to England and France to study European art, sculpture and architecture. When I am not teaching I love hanging out with my family.
I am teaching Art I, Art II, Sculpture II and III, and Floral design I and II. I have a passion for teaching our youth art. I love seeing how their minds develop creatively. I feel very blessed to have such a great group of students who are hard working and taking every project to heart. It is always exciting to an art teacher to see the advancement in student art throughout the year. I am excited to be here at Chapel Hill High School and look forward to a great year!
