In this course students expound on previous knowledge adding skills that will allow they to understand more complex health science and career options and pathways.  They will become certified in CPR and learn first aid, career options and prepare for choosing certifications for their senior year classes.  We will combine information over anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology and medical terminology along with more in depth learning.  It is a year long course.
    CLINICAL:  Students will attend clinical  rotations at local health care businesses and providers 3 days a week.  Students will have classroom work along with their rotation assignments.  Specific regulations apply to the facilities we attend and students will have orientation  over those rules/responsibililties.  There are fees incurred in this class and  it is an application and acceptance curriculum.  Students will apply at the end of their sophomore year, after completing the  first two courses in the Health Science pathway.
