    School Technology and Readiness (STaR) Chart

    The purpose of the STaR Chart is to assist all classroom teachers in assessing needs and setting goals for the use of technology in the classroom to support student achievement. This tool will be useful in fulfilling the requirements in No Child Left Behind, Title II, Part D that all teachers should be technology literate and integrate technology into content areas across the curriculum. The legislation also requires that all students should be technology literate by the time they leave the eighth grade. Read the entire description at
    The Teacher STaR Chart Survey is broken down into four key areas:
    • Teaching and Learning
    • Educator Preparation and Development
    • Leadership, Administration and Instructional Support
    • Infrastructure for Technology


    Completing your STaR Chart Survey

    To fill out the teacher STaR Chart go to: and click on login.

    Returning Teacher

    Type in your username and password. You should have received this in an email if you are a returning teacher.

    New Teacher

    Go to the login screen:

    Username: firstname.lastname (ex. charlie.brown)
    Password: password
    Fill in all the appropriate information before completing the STaR Chart.

    Note: Your username may be followed by a number. Your campus administrator will provide you with this information.

    Forgot your Password

    Type in your username
    Click on "Send Password"
    Complete all four key areas of the STaR Chart, then logout.
