CHISD Student Nutrition Services provides breakfast and lunch in all schools at no cost to the student. In addition, parents may utilize the online meal payment system to pre-pay their children's meals. Healthy food choices are offered in coordination with the Texas State Public Schools Nutrition Policy, which regulates nutrients in food items (reducing fat, sugar and salt content). Our team is dedicated to providing quality meals to students, staff, and visitors, and support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition practices.
CHISD Food Services Department offers a way to put money in your child's lunch account. Although student meals are free, students will need to pay for any a la carte or extra items. Online deposits may be made through mySchoolBucks. Parents are able to register for an account and view information for free. Parents are also able to view account balances or recent purchases in the school cafeteria, add money to their child's account, and setup low balance alerts through this system.
