About Ms. Winfrey

I have been a second grade teacher at Jackson for eighteen "rewarding" years. I was honored with "Chapel Hill Teacher of the Year" for 1999-2000. I am also listed in the 2006-2007 edition of "Who's Who Among America's Teachers". Teaching is my passion. I have always believed that I can make a difference in the life of students. My teaching career includes many, many years of outstanding performances. I have taught in three states - Missouri, Louisiana, and Texas. My class motto is, "I Can If I Think I Can". I am the proud mom of a wonderful son, Clinton.

What's Going On In The Classroom

The end of the 2^nd six weeks is Friday, November 14^th. Report Cards go out Thursday, November 20^th.

We are currently reading the story Cinderella and working on the Long A sound.
