 "About Mrs. Tave "

I am a graduate of TJC and UT at Tyler.  I live in the Chapel Hill School District. Teaching is a career I chose because I wanted to be  instrumental in shaping students' lives. This is my 4th year at Chapel Hill Middle School. I truly enjoy my job.  I have worked in the business world for many years.  However; this is the most important and worthwhile job that I have ever had.

Classroom Activities

IT IS GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR.             OUR THEME IS  ATTITUDE = ALTITUDE

We will have an exciting and busy year.  6th graders are new to middle school, and we are trying to help them get organized with the daily planners.  We will have homework 3 to 4 times a week, and a test about every 2 weeks.

There are a few things that you can do to help your child have a great year :

1.  Help them with their multiplication facts.  (It is very important that they know them).

2.  Check their planner daily, and sign it weekly.

3.  Remind them to do their homework, and bring it back to school.

4.  Make plans for them to stay for after school tutorials if needed.

After school tutorials will be every Wednesday from 3:25 to 4:00.

Please email me if you have any questions.
