About Mrs. Rose

Name:  Sheryl Rose

Degree and College attended:  Bachelor of Science – State University of New York at Fredonia,   Masters Education – Early Childhood Education - University of Texas at Tyler,     Post – Masters study done at University of California at Los Angeles.

Why I chose to be a teacher:  Teaching is my calling.  I love life and learning and I enjoy passing that on to children.  My first group of Kindergarteners was in 1975.   I consider it an honor and privilege to have had a new group of students for so many years.

Favorite thing about Wise Elementary:  Love and learning are alive and well in all our rooms and hallways.   There is truly a family atmosphere at Wise and children come first!

Hopes for the future of Wise Elementary:  I hope the family atmosphere continues and grows.  We are striving toward the goal for Wise to become an “exemplary campus” according to TEA standards!

Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my four children and husband.  I am trying to learn to play chess and fencing.  I also love to travel.
