About Mrs. Sarah Russell

Degree and College attended: Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Early Childhood from Stephen F. Austin State University

Experience: I earned my undergraduate degree in 2005. I have been teaching for a total 3 years. The last two years I have worked at Wise Elementary. I am looking foward to the upcoming year and incorporating our new 'Smart Board' and 'Smart Writers' into my classroom.

Why I chose to be a teacher: I want to make a difference in the lives of children. Children need to know that they are loved, are very special and that they can achieve anything. I love to see the progress each child makes during the year. WOW!

Hopes for the future of Wise Elementary: My hope is that each child will reach his/her highest potential.  I would love for Wise to be an “exemplary campus”!

Hobbies: I like to spend time with my family, watch basketball games, go shopping and eat Mexican food
