Course Descriptions

Spanish I (0510)
Grades: 9-12 Length: 2 semesters Credit: 1 credit per year GPA weight: 1.0
Prerequisite: Grade 9-Language Arts average of "85" in 8th grade; teacher recommendation
This course emphasizes:

development of speaking, understanding, reading, and writing Spanish
grammar and vocabulary study
an introduction of the cultural appreciation of Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries
