We made it through the first six weeks.  

The students will take their First Six Weeks Science Test and a Vocabulary Test on Thursday and Friday.

This week we will continue with "Matter" learning about physical properties, observations and Mixtures and Solutions. 

The students will also continue with a Review on the Vocabulary words---playing the vacabulary bingo game.

In addition to the above, students will create a "Matter" song, poem, or rap to perform in small groups for the class.

I am very excited about this new school year and the 5th graders I will be working with.

Your child has a daily planner that will come home daily with him/her.  It is very important that you look at it each day to see what your child is doing in class.
