Hello and thanks for visiting. My name is Mary Hanson and this is my 4th year to teach at Chapel Hill. I have a General Business Administration Degree from Sam Houston State University and have completed the Alternative Education Program at Region 7 for a Special Education certification. I've been trained to teach the "Rally to Read" program. It's a research based program for struggling readers. You should see your student's self-confidence improve as they gain reading skills that will benefit them in school and life. I'm excited to be at such a great school with your student! Let's encourage them to do their best and to READ!
