Classroom Activities

Spanish II and III are very interactive classes.  The goal is to learn Spanish through contextual usage and the students often work with their classmates on class activities.  Good attendance is key to this type of learning.

This summer the Spanish Department is taking a trip to Spain with EF Tours.  Ms. Dickerson and Mrs.Foley will be accompanying the students on a 11-day trip in June.

Course Descriptions

Spanish II continues in the Spanish one book and concentrates on reinforcing the present tense verb usage and adding the past tense form, present progressive along with additional vocabulary.  The students should be able to express themselves in the past, present and future tenses about everyday activities such as school, travel , home and sports after Spanish II.

Spanish III moves at a faster pace and continues to build on the previous two years of Spanish.  The students learn to express more abstract thoughts and ideas and to build their daily vocabulary.
