About Mrs. Glover
Hola!  I am Mrs. Glover!  This is my third year teaching Spanish, but my first year teaching here at Chapel Hill.  I was born here in Texas, but due to my parents' professions I was raised in Ecuador, South America.  I lived in Ecuador from the time I was eight to when I was eighteen.  I then went to Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana and got my bachelor of arts degree in Languages.  About a year after I graduated I landed my first teaching job at Yantis ISD, and now two years after that I am here at Chapel Hill!  So far I am loving it here at Chapel Hill and am excited to get to know the students, the teachers, the parents, and the community!

Classroom Activities

Usually we start off with a Class Starter that just helps jump start our brains in the direction of Spanish.  Then we move on to learning new concepts, working some exercises with those concepts, and then some days we do activities and games that deal with the concepts that we have learned!

As well as learning the Spanish language, we will also be learning about different Spanish speaking countries and their cultures.  While learning about these Spanish speaking countries,  we will be focusing on the clothing they wear, the foods they eat, the holidays that they celebrate, and other important things that pertain to that specific country and their culture.
