About Ms. Clubb

Mrs. Clubb has been a math instructor, at Chapel Hill ISD, for two years. She has a Bachelor of General Studies with a major in Math and minors in Science and Education from Texas A&M - University Texarkana. She is a Robert Noyce Scholar, served as president of the Educator’s Math club, and was an officer in the Education Club.  She also attended the PACT (Accelerated Teacher Certification Program) at LeTourneau University Longview.



Mrs. Clubb is available to tutor every morning between 7:15 and 7:50 as well as after school each day.

Course Descriptions

Math Models (0231)
Grades: 11-12    Length: 2 semesters     Credit: 1 credit per year      GPA weight: 1.0
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra I and Geometry

Note: For students entering 9th grade in 2004-05 through 2006-07, this course counts as a third math credit only on the Minimum graduation plan.  For students entering 9th grade in 2007-08 and after, this course may count as a third math if taken in the following sequence: Algebra I, Geometry, Math Models, and Algebra II.

This course emphasizes:

  • the use of algebraic, graphical, and geometric reasoning to recognize patterns and structure
  • the use of mathematical models for algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics to solve real-life applied problems, such as prediction, motion, animation, oscillation, and growth and decay
  • problem-solving applications utilizing graphic calculators, computer-based labs, and motion detectors

Geometry (0250)
Grade: 9-10    Length: 2 semesters      Credit: 1 credit per year      GPA weight: 1.0
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra I
This course emphasizes:

  • the application of algebraic skills for problem-solving
  • the basic structure of geometry, geometric figures and concepts
  • ratios and proportions
