My name is Joyce Milton. I have been teaching for 31 years in the Chapel Hill School District. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Education from East Texas State University, certification in Elementary Education, and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Texas at Tyler.

I have three wonderful children, Patrick, Verlisia (Lisia), and Warren, who have families of their own. I am a Chapel Hill graduate and have lived in the district most of my life.

I have been blessed to have taught all grade levels from first through fourth, including ARI (Accelerated Reading Intervention). At the present, I am serving as a Reading Interventionist for grades K-1. It is so exciting to be a part of these children's early literacy development.
