Hi! My name is Janie Rodriguez. I am a native of Seminole, TX, where I taught for 11 years. During my tenure as teacher at Seminole ISD, I had the pleasure of educating English Language Learners (ELL) in second and third grade. Then I relocated to Dallas, TX, after accepting a second grade bilingual teaching position at Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. After another rewarding experience, I moved to Tyler, TX, where I accepted a new teaching assignment at Chapel Hill ISD where I have remained since 2002. I have enjoyed working with first grade bilingual students for five years and look forward to partaking in the educational process of our district's ELL population for many years to come.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Janie Rodríguez. Soy de Seminole, TX, donde di clases en este distrito por 11 años. Durante mi estancia como maestra de Seminole ISD, tuve el placer de educar a los estudiantes de segundo y tercer grado cuyo primer idioma no es inglés. Posteriormente me fui a vivir a Dallas, TX, después de haber aceptado el puesto como maestra de los niños bilingües de segundo grado en Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Después de otra experiencia gratificante, me fui a vivir a Tyler, TX, donde acepté un nuevo trabajo en Chapel Hill ISD donde he permanecido desde el año 2002. He disfrutado trabajando con los estudiantes bilingües de primer grado durante cinco años y espero participar en el proceso educativo de la población de los alumnos cuyo primer idioma no es el inglés en nuestro distrito por muchos años más.
