Hello, I am Ella Raye (Bryant) Hall. My hometown is Gilmer, Texas (home of the East Texas Yamboree). I attended grade school in Diana, Amarillo, Greenville, and Gilmer (all in Texas). I am a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Kilgore, Texas where my husband, Rev. Leonard Ray Hall, Sr., is my Pastor. Our children, Coronica (Robin), Leonard, Jr., Kathlynn (Raynida), and Jonathan all attended Chapel Hill Schools and graduated Chapel Hill High School. Our grandson Cameron also attended Jackson Elementary School-Chapel Hill ISD.

I am a graduate of Valley View High School - Gilmer, Texas; Jarvis Christian College - Hawkins, Texas - Bachelor's of Science degree - Business Education and History; East Texas State University (currently, Texas A & M at Commerce) - Commerce, Texas, Master's of Science degree - Special Education (all grade levels); and The University of Texas at Tyler - Master's of Education - Reading. I have certification to teach the Language and/or Learning Disabled (grades PK-12), and the Mentally Retarded (grades PK-12). I also hold certifications by examination from the State Board for Educator Certification for the Texas Examination of Current Administrators & Teachers (TECAT), and for English as a Second Language (ESL).

I strive to stay current on trends and research-based educational strategies for the teaching and learning of exceptional students by attending various workshops, professional developments, and conferences.

My motto is, "Every child will learn what they have to learn, when they are taught, the way they learn it best."

My hobbies are fishing, cooking, reading, and writing.
