Elementary Education
Middle School
High School Students attend classes according to an eight period day with classes meeting every school day. The academic program of studies includes strands in general studies, college preparatory studies, advanced level courses, and career and technology courses. Students seeking a more rigorous schedule may choose from over 17 pre-advanced placement (PAP) and advanced placement (AP) courses. They may also take dual credit courses that will allow students to receive college credit through Tyler Junior College. Additional college credit can be acquired through Chapel Hill ISD’s partnership with NETNet, a consortium of 15 higher-education institutions throughout the East Texas area.
Special Education To be eligible for special education and related services, a student must meet the federal definition in one of the following areas: auditory impairment, autism, deaf-blind, emotional disturbance, mental retardation, multiple impairment, orthopedic impairment, other health impairment, specific learning disability, speech or language impairment, traumatic brain injury, or visual impairment.
