About Mr. Richardson

Hello everyone.  I am both honored and excited to be entering my second year of having the opportunity to teach young men and women here at Chapel Hill High.  I hope to offer our students the chance to pursue a career that is reflective of each person's individual interests and attributes.  Even if a career path is not the student's ultimate goal when they initially walk into my classroom, I hope to arm them with skills and values that they can carry for a lifetime.

While my background is in cabinet and furniture design and fabrication, my interests are vast and include things such as home and car audio, bicycle frame building, airbrushing, fishing lure design and fabrication, and countless other things.  These interests all revolve around some commonalitiesand disciplines deeply rooted in my construction background in which I hope to instill in my students.  A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the desire to take pride in everyhing that you do are few things I stress and expect from our students.

Our program has made great strides in my short tenure at Chapel Hill.  We as a department  will continue to develop our program to meet the needs of our students and our economy.  The framework has been set for an exciting year of progress and achievement.  Let's make it happen!
