Please check this site weekly for news on concepts being taught as well as for important dates to remember. Also, please keep in mind that your child's daily planner will come home with him/her each day. It is important for you to look at it each day in order to see what your child is doing in class. Please sign the planner before returning it to school with your child the next day.

MATH New Skills This Week Monday: Student Holiday Tuesday: Estimating Sums Wednesday: Estimating Sums Thursday: Adding 2-Digit Numbers ; Topic 2 Test Friday: Adding 2-Digit Numbers ** Please look in your child's planner for Math homework. I will be sending home practice pages that you can help him/her with once or twice a week. SCIENCE We will begin discussing the concept of force. Force is a push or a pull. Math and Science Vocabulary lists will be coming home this week. Please take a few minutes each night to review the words with your child. Thank you! |

Delores Kimmel was elected as our class representative for Student Council. Bryanna Silva is our class alternate for Student Council. Awards Assembly for the 1st Six Weeks: Friday, October 17, 8:30 a.m.
The students have homework for Mrs. Cofer on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Take home folders contain completed and graded assignments. These are for you to review with your child so that you will be informed of the concepts that he/she is struggling with, as well as those that he/she is understanding well. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions, concerns, or suggestions concerning your child. I look forward to getting to know you ! |
