Director Katie Griffin is in her third year teaching at Chapel Hill High School and her eighth year in education. She is a 1997 graduate of Chapel Hill where she was a Lieutenant of the Highlighters Drill Team. She went on to dance as a Kilgore College Rangerette and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Texas in 2001. Assistant Director, Laura Grimes, is starting her first year at Chapel Hill High School. She is a 2005 graduate of Jacksonville High School where she was Captain of the Cherokee Charmers Drill Team, under the direction of Mrs. Griffin. She went on to dance as a Kilgore College Rangerette from 2005-2007. In 2007 she made it to the final round of Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader tryouts and from 2008-2009 she was a member of the North Texas Dancers. She is now a senior at Stephen F. Austin State University where she will be receiving her Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Dance. |
