Mrs. Palmer Mrs. Palmer's tenure as CHHS counselor began in August 1998 after three years as Van Junior High counselor and fourteen years teaching high school English throughout Texas. A native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in English at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. After completing her post-graduate studies at UT-Tyler in 1998, she became a Certified School Counselor (CSC). Mrs. Palmer has dedicated the past ten years to the students of Chapel Hill ISD and is grateful to be part of the Chapel Hill family. Married for 33 years to Tyler native Ricky Palmer, Mrs. Palmer has one son, Jonathan, who lives with his wife, Kristen, in Tupelo, MIssissippi.
Email: palmerf@chapelhillisd.org Ms. Divine Ms. Divine is in her third year as a counselor at CHHS. This is her fourth year counseling and her twenty-third year in education. She received her Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from Louisiana Tech University and her teacher certification from Stephen F. Austin State University. Ms. Divine's Master of Arts in School Counseling was awarded by the University of Texas in Tyler. Prior to becoming a counselor, she taught French, Journalism, and English in a nearby school system. She is the proud mother of a Wise Elementary second grader.
Email: divines@chapelhillisd.org Ms. Boysselle Ms. Boysselle joins the Chapel Hill Counseling Department with 15 years as an educator and nine years as a counselor. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Nova Southeastern University in Panama, she taught in a Department of Defense school at Fort Clayton. Killeen, Texas, was her next stop, where she received her Texas teaching certificate in mathematics then went on to teaching Algebra at "Ellison Ninth Grade Center". At the same time, she completed her Master of Science degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Central Texas. Her next move brought her to East Texas and Jacksonville High School, where she served as a high school counselor for eight years, and she is now proud to be at Chapel Hill High School. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), Ms. Boysselle works part time for the Crisis Center of Anderson & Cherokee in Jacksonville. She is the proud mother of two boys, 22 and 19. Her 22-year-old son is currently serving in the U.S. Army and now deployed to Iraq.
