About Ms. Hughes
Hi, my name is Barbara Hughes. I graduated from Chapel Hill High School and went on to get my bachelors degree from the University of North Texas. I continued my education at UT Tyler, getting my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education.  This is my 29th year to teach, 28 years of which I've taught in Kindergarten. I really enjoy working with my Kindergarten students.  I am married to my wonderful husband, Alvin. We have a son, Torey, a daughter, Tanisha, and one grandson, Layton.
