Week of October 7 - October 10
In math, we will be working on subtracting whole numbers when zeros are involved.  We will practice the borrowing method.  In problem solving, we will focus on drawing a picture and writing an equation to solve word problems.

In science we will be working on the physical property of density.  We will see how density is based on the volume vs the size of the object.  Students will observe what happens when dense objects are put in water.
 

Continue working at home on the multiplication facts up to 12x12!

**There will be no school on Monday, October 6!!  I look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday, October 7 for another fun week of learning!**
